Installation

Requirements, database, ensure order and first-run check.

Not released yet. These pages are written from the code of manniche_admin and can change before the release.

Requirements

The manifest lists these dependencies. The resource does not start without them.

  • es_extended (ESX Legacy)
  • oxmysql
  • ox_lib

Optional:

  • ox_inventory for the inventory and stash tools (Config.Inventory)
  • esx_ambulancejob: revive also triggers its revive event
  • lb-phone: phone viewer, only active while the resource is running
  • screenshot-basic: live screenshots, only while the resource is running

The UI is already built in web/dist. You do not need to build it to run the script.

Install

  1. Copy manniche_admin to your resources folder.
  2. Optional: import sql/install.sql. It creates all manniche_admin_* tables with CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS. The resource also runs this file on every start, so the import is not required.
  3. Add it to server.cfg after its dependencies:
ensure es_extended
ensure oxmysql
ensure ox_lib
ensure manniche_admin

Do not put your identifiers or secrets in config/config.lua. That file is sent to every client. Use config/server.lua, which is server-only.

Set yourself as owner

  1. Join the server and run /myid. Your identifiers print in the F8 console.
  2. Copy your license: identifier into Config.Owners in config/server.lua.
  3. Restart the resource.

Nobody is an owner by default. As an alternative, grant the ACE in server.cfg:

add_ace group.admin manniche_admin.owner allow

See Permissions and roles.

Framework and inventory

The framework adapter checks Config.Framework (default 'auto'). In auto mode it picks the first started resource in this order: es_extended, qbx_core, qb-core, ox_core. If none is started it uses standalone. The result is printed at startup.

The manifest still lists es_extended as a dependency, so the resource targets ESX. Revive and the bundled setup are written for ESX.

The inventory adapter supports ox_inventory only.

First-run check

  1. The server console shows [manniche_admin] schema ensured (...), then framework detected: ... and started (v...) with the command, the number of config owners and the database state.
  2. In game, open the panel with /adminmenu or F10.
  3. Players can open the report window with /report.

The key is registered with RegisterKeyMapping, so each player can rebind it in the GTA key bindings.
