DocsNotify

Installation

Add the resource and, on ESX, stop esx_notify.

Not released yet. These pages are written from the code of manniche_notify and can change before the release.

Install

The resource has no dependencies and no database. It needs no build step: the interface files in web/ are included.

  1. Put manniche_notify in your resources folder.
  2. Add it to server.cfg.
ensure manniche_notify

Options are in config.lua. See Configuration.

ESX

With Config.replaceEsx = true (the default), ESX messages show in manniche_notify. This covers ESX.ShowNotification and xPlayer.showNotification. ESX itself does not change.

Stop esx_notify after your core resources and before ensure manniche_notify. Keep it installed, because ESX needs to find it.

stop esx_notify
ensure manniche_notify
If esx_notify is still running when manniche_notify starts, ESX messages keep going to it and the console prints a warning.

Other frameworks

The resource does not detect a framework. On QBCore, Qbox and standalone servers, other scripts call the export or the event. See Exports and events.

First run check

  1. Start the server and check the console for the esx_notify warning.
  2. From a client script, call exports.manniche_notify:notify({ description = 'Test', type = 'success' }).
  3. A green message should show at the configured position.
